Brits Diabetes Centre is hosting a DIabetes Awareness Day in Brits on 23 October 2010 at NG Kerk - Krokodilrivier, Ludorf street, Brits, 09:-13:00. The day is free for people with diabetes and their family and friends. There will be free blood glucose testing, blood pressure and blood cholesterol testing

There will be dieticians, foot specialists (podiatrists), psychiatrists and speech and hearing therapists there to give free advice. The first 250 diabetics who register will each receive a goody bag filled with information on diabetes and a few surprises.
